Professor. Virendra Shukla has over 35 years’ experience in Industry with leading Business Groups like Godfrey Phillips - Phillip Morris, RPG Group, The Mehta Group, Aditya Birla Group at Strategic Human Resources Management level. and over a decade as a full time faculty at SPJIMR, KJ SIMSR, TISS, Mumbai and IMT Ghaziabad. He has been also member of many unique initiatives like ADMAP in SPJIMR, Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CDMI) at SIMSR and HR Board of IMT Hyderabad. Further he has guided and assessed PhD students and has conducted over 100 MDPs/EDPs in the areas of Leadership Development, Managerial Effectiveness, Performance Management, Emotional Intelligence, Personal Growth Labs and Competency development for various organizations. He was a Management Consultant for over 5 years to a $250 million Family Managed Corporation advising the Board on their Business Performance and HR Policies and also Board member of an International Consulting Organization from 1998 - 2006.

Besides being a Management Educator and an Executive and Life Coach, Prof Shukla has been a Business Excellence Examiner (RBNQA ) for IMC besides a Quality Improvement Assessor for Qimpro for over two decades .He is a member of the IMC RBNQA Award Process and has been associated with Initiatives of Change (IofC), Panchgani and has been a Facilitator for Heart of Effective Leadership (HEL ) programs and a member of the Caux Initiatives for Business (CIB) programs reinforcing governance and ethical business practices in Corporations. He has been trained in Japan in Quality, Factory and Corporate Management through the AOTS-HIDA programs and his interest in Japanese Management Practices has lead him to visit over 15 companies like Toyota, Daikin, Fuji Die, Kubota, Japan Tobacco, Nakano, Mirae, etc and has travelled extensively across the world.

His areas of Proficiency include Organization Development, Organization Structuring, Competencies Induction, Assessing & developing Leadership pipeline, Performance Management.

Quality Improvement Processes / Facilitating Implementation of Business Excellence Models, Aligning HR with Business Strategies Organization / HR Integration and Synergy Supporting Business Alliances Turnaround Management Family Business Management. His professional interests lie in Family Managed Business, Total Quality Management and Business Excellence, Action Research, leadership development and corporate governance, sustainability and Coaching.
